Why to focus more in your early 20s...

ABOUT ME:

Hii, I am Chandra and today I am writing my first blog. Don't judge me if I am wrong. Anyways, I have always been passionate about starting a blog where I could tell things which most people normally don't talk about. Currently, I am studying in 12th grade.

Why to focus more in your early 20s?
I am currently 17 years old, and this is a topic which many youngsters of this generation can relate.I am going to be straight forward, I have seen many people who waste their crucial time when they are in their 20s. Well there can be many reasons: maybe they did not get a good college of their own choice, maybe they don't know what to do in future, or they did not get admission in the top institutes. What happens is then you are forced by your parents to do what you do not want to do. Why because you yourselves have not figured out what to do. Then you go to some shitty private colleges who make tons of money out of you.I am not writing this to make you sceptical but this is the reality that happens with a lot of students out there.

A FRESH PERSPECTIVE:
So, if you are reading till now then congrats, because I know many of them must have left reading. Well, the rest means that you are concerned about yourself. The first thing is to accept that you are in this trap. Secondly, you cannot blame the system because it will not help you in anything.
Let's come to our main topic, why to focus in your 20s? First of all I just want all of you to ask yourselves what do you have to lose? Well, according to me I don't have anything to loose. I don't have to look after the house or pay any loans or any financial problems. So why are you afraid to do things or learn which you can but you're not. Watching movies or Netflix will not get you out of the problem. Have you ever wondered about the saying, 'Time waits for no one". If you analyze there is so much deeper meaning in it.
You can start by learning new skills which interests you. And mind my words in this modern world you will be rejected if you don't have the right skills. I can guarantee you, go on the internet you will find everything. The problem with students is you have your own bullshit excuses of not doing it. You can learn anything and can start doing something on your own. Nobody is there to provide you government jobs. You have to be the job creator and not job seeker.
The most difficult thing people say what to focus more; on building relationships or focusing on your career, here are few points which might help you:

   a) Every experience of yours will help you grow exponentially as an individual but the former will not be sustainable for a longer time. Yes, definately you will learn great lessons. On the other hand when you put your all sweat in building some skills, it helps you in building confidence, communication skills :which most people ignore. Its stable and sustainable.

b)Being financially independent is the most important thing today. You must have heard people say," Money can't buy you happiness ". First of all 'money' and 'happiness' are completely two different entities. Money serves as a tool that can help you to do almost all the things you want to do in life. There is taboo in the society to not speak about money.I just want to ask a simple question, why do we study? Why do we get a job? The answer is as simple as that we do this at the end to earn money , then why should we not talk about? On the other hand, money can't buy you health or help you in building strong relationships. The main reason it has become a taboo is people make a negative thought because they don't have that thing and thus is the reality. You must have seen many scenarios in which a small food shop is earning more than an engineer. This is only because we don't have basic financial knowledge and the sad part is we are not taught about these things in our school life.

c)Finding new opportunities: when we pass our 10th grade we only see that there are only 3 options. That too most of them start preparing themselves for IIT JEE or NEET or any UPSC exams. The problem with students is they don't see any other options. I am not saying don't take entrance exams. Do you have any idea how much students appear for these exams, nearly 10lakh students and seats only 10,000. The other domains where there are no competitions are being unexplored and only 5 to 6 students go and they succeed. The point is you are in so much competition that later on you cannot figure out what to do and you take something unworthy .
My only point to convey through this blog would be;please focus on your self growth and at least be a little aware of what is happening around you. Because only you can change your life.
