Here's how GPT-3 will change the world of CONTENT WRITING...

I've spent the last week exploring this new AI called GPT-3 and how it will transform the world of content creating and blogging in the near future.

I went out loooking for what this AI was capable of and found that it's already being quite active around the web.

      The best way to understand GPT-3 is to actually read some of its work. 

*Here is one instance in which a student used GPT-3 to write a blog and it went viral within a few hours and hit the top of Hacker News. Very few people caught on the fact that it was AI generated. He was trying to demonstrate that the content produced by GPT-3 could fool people into believing it was written by a human.

SO WHAT EXACTLY IS GPT-3?

In case you are not familiar with GPT-3: it's the latest version of series of AI designed by OpenAI. GPT-3 is short for "Generative Pre-trianed Transformer". It can produce many types of written content. It takes only a short prompt to produce grammatically correct content. It basically takes a huge range of text inputs and then uses them to create new text.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

It can generate anything from constructing essays, translating anything, summarizing, writing blogs, etc. It can also answer trivia questions, solve mathematics problems and even generate computer code. It means it uses a pre- existing piece of text and tries to generate based on the input.

WHAT IMPACT IT WILL CREATE ON CONTENT WRITERS AND BLOGGERS?

A well programmed GPT-3 will always have the potential to outperform humans. It has the ability to write content from beginning to end with proper vocabulary and grammar. It will create text as good as if it is written by a human.

*So are they going to replace all human content creators in future?

My opinion: I don't think all these AI and content generation platforms are going to be replaced completely. 

     There are certain pros and cons of every technology created till date. 

1) Pros of AI and GPT-3:

There's no denying that using an AI platform to generate the first draft may help you to get a jumpstart and understanding of that particular thing.

     If you are stuck somewhere in between while writing, it can help you in arranging the text properly, or you can add an input so that the AI can help you in generating more ideas for your content.

       

     It's not always easy for any content creator to always come up with new ideas and thoughts. So in this case you can definitely take help of GPT-3 and add an input so that you can get similar ideas out of it.

    So if are new in this genre you can take help in the start and eventually will help your content grow. It will save a lot of time and money in hiring people. Here I don't mean the dependence on AI completely will be possible but the role of these existing people will change and the process of content creation will become much faster.

  

2) Cons of AI and GPT-3:

 Articles written by GPT-3 don't provide as good of a user experience as one written by a professional writer.

  

   Mostly AI works as a medium in which it collects the information that is already available on the web and gives a proper outline of the text. So more people in the coming years are gonna use it which will affect the originality and innovation of content creators.

 

   GPT-3 is new so it will take time to develop completely. Now it has only the ability to create short form content. So if you are thinking you can get full fledged content then you are wrong because these platforms can only help you in giving you ideas.

         Also the use of emotional textures is not available in GPT-3 which can only be achieved by human writers.

HOW YOU CAN USE THIS TECHNOLOGY TO CREATE CONTENT:

Currently Microsoft has licensed "exclusive" use of GPT-3. It's undeniable that content creators will create content using GPT-3. Many people will be successful in creating content at the start but one should add their original thoughts and ideas so that it looks real and connects with the readers.

You can definitely add some keywords and input to enhance your creativity and let AI help you. Those who are looking in long term to enhance their content can take help and improve over the years.

You can search keywords and add input so that it can help you with new ideas. Add your original thoughts and perspectives. It's about appealing your readers that will not be fulfilled by AI or GPT-3. 

Although GPT-3 seems timesaving and automated it cannot replace the humans completely. There needs to be an emotional texture to finish the final touch. People want to read experiences, perspectives of other people so you need to make sure that when you write any content edit it so that it looks human to your readers.
